Airlines Restrictions

All scheduled commercial airline operations currently remain suspended across the nation.

On occasion, there are a few special repatriation flights.

Curfew Restrictions

The government has extended the state of emergency until 31 May, previously valid until 10 May. A nightly curfew is in place from 20:00 to 05:00 (local time). Congo security forces will patrol to ensure the new rules are maintained.

Transportation Restrictions

Travel between Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire is currently barred. However, public transportation in both cities has resumed.

Social Distancing Restrictions

Confinement to homes is enforced, except for essential purposes. Those employed in work providing essential goods and services are exempt until 31 May.

All stores will remain closed, except for essential stores.

Protective masks are mandatory in public places.

Schools and universities remain closed, sporting events and gatherings are banned, bars and restaurants are closed until further notice.

Border Restrictions

All borders remain closed until further notice.
